£ 10,000 of fishing gear stolen from Tamworth

Police call for information after around £ 10,000 of fishing gear was stolen from a property in Tamworth.
Officers were called at 10 am on Sunday March 21 to report a burglary at an outhouse at an undisclosed address in “the Tamworth area”.
Police attended and a large number of sticks, canes, reels, luggage bags and a seat were reported stolen.
The burglary was said to have taken place around 10:15 p.m. the day before, on Saturday March 20.
Staffordshire Police said: ‘Officers are currently reviewing the CCTV footage and urging anyone who may see Frenzee, Matrix, Drennan or Preston Innovations branded items for sale locally to get in touch.

Police Community Support Officer Margaret Griffiths for Lichfield & District, Fazeley, Mile Oak & Bourne Vale, Whittington, Tame & Mease issued a Staffordshire Smart Alert saying: “On Saturday March 20, 2021 at approximately 10:10 PM an offender was able to enter a farm Outbuilding Fishing equipment worth £ 10,000 was taken.
“If anyone has any information regarding the incident, please contact police personnel on 101 quoting incident number 209 of 03/21/21.”
