What is Simms?
The brand was founded in 1980 by John Simms. As a longtime fisherman and river fishing / fishing guide, he realized that the waders of the day weren’t doing the best job of keeping people safe and dry, so he decided to set out to create top quality waders.
KC Walsh, also an avid angler, acquired Simms in 1993 and moved the business to Bozeman, Montana. Since then, Simms fishing products have been designed, manufactured and tested by experts.
