Fishing Gear Checklist – Royal Examiner

If you intend to travel abroad, you will need a passport. Here are five valuable tips to avoid any travel headaches.
1. Inspect it
When you receive your new passport, make sure all the information is correct. If everything looks good, sign it with a blue or black pen. If there is an error, report it immediately so the problem can be resolved.
2. Put it away
Keep your passport in a safe place. Ideally, it should be stored in a cool, dry place that is not easily accessible to others. You can also consider keeping your passport in a waterproof pouch.
3. Check it out
Before planning a trip, make sure your passport is undamaged and still valid. You should also check the expiration date. Some countries require your access to be valid several months after your departure date. Therefore, make sure your passport meets the entry and exit requirements of the country you wish to visit.
4. Protect it
When you travel, keep your passport in a safe place and never leave it unattended. Also, do not put any personal information in your absolutely necessary passport.
5. Report it
If your passport is lost or stolen while you are abroad, immediately report the problem to the relevant authorities. Once you get home, go to the nearest government office to apply for a new one.
Remember that if you need help understanding the passport and visa requirements for your destination country, you can ask your tour operator representative or travel agent for help.
