Police blotter: fishing gear, old shingles, bail stolen in the county
5:15 p.m. – The appellant testified that people were on his property on Sunnybrook Road hitting golf balls at passing cars, buffaloes and the river.
11:10 a.m. – A caller noticed the neighbor had deer carcasses and deer heads on their roof on Fourth Street NW.
11:53 a.m. – A public nuisance check was conducted on a property in Fourth Street NW.
3:23 a.m. – An unregistered RV, trash, trash and a couch were listed during a public nuisance call on Garfield Ave., SW.
10:27 a.m. – The appellant reported that his tackle box had been stolen from his boat which was in his garage the night before the fishery opened.
8:16 p.m. – A party smashed the windows of a vehicle and then left the scene in a white Crown Victoria.

8:19 a.m. – The appellant reported a bear on the road. Another caller reported that he touched one last night but could not find it. The bear has been sent and the information provided for a permit.
9:21 a.m. – A group of men said he was threatened by a worker saying he was going to shoot him.
6:11 p.m. – The appellant found a piece of wood in his tire and thinks someone put it there. It was parked in front of the Nimrod bar.
9:51 p.m. – A woman was found overdosed on oxycodone pills in Old Wadena Park. She was taken by ambulance to Lakewood Hospital in Staples.
4:39 p.m. – The appellant reported that a white Dodge truck and a tin Tahoe were driving up and down the gravel on Acorn Street and Nimrod Avenue in a 15 mph zone with children playing in the area. The complainant requested an additional patrol in the area.
9:51 p.m. – The appellant reported that someone had stolen a pile of rotten shingles and junk from his property. The items were of little value and the appellant planned to install cameras.
4:43 p.m. – The Thomastown Township building has been broken into. It was not clear if anything had been taken. The appellant asked for an assistant to come and take a look.
4:02 p.m. – Filer said she had her social security deposit stolen electronically. She asked to speak to an officer.
